Bing Image Search Gets Huge Upgrade


Bing Image search had gotten a huge upgrade on all devices that takes basic image search to another level. Watch this short 1 min video to see what we mean:

Bing has added the following features once a user has selected a photo within their image search results:

  • Places to Buy - Users will now be able to select a photo and then scroll down the page to see places that are currently selling the product they're searching for. To be included in this list be sure that your pages are appropriately marked up with the recognized schemas. Bing recommends using Schema.org and Opengraph however, Microdata, Microformats and RDFa are also supported.
  • Pages with information related to the image - For example, an image of the Statue of Liberty might take you to a page with its history or perhaps vacation information for NY.
  • Higher resolution and different sizes of the image
  • Pinterest boards that include the image
  • Related Images
