Live: Expanded Text Ads for Mobile


Google AdWords marches on towards an improved mobile experience with Expanded Text Ads. Expanded text ads increase headlines up to 60 characters in length spread out over two lines, ad text by 50% and the description line to 80 characters and they are now available for all advertisers.

Standard text ads will no longer be available for creation or edits after October 26, 2016 but Google may continue to run them until later this year. Expanded text ads are supported in AdWords Editor and AdWords API for bulk editing and DoubleClick Search, Kenshoo and Marin Software for those companies that use third-party software for ad management.
