Google PageRank Being Retired

In a recent Google Webmaster Central Hangout, John Mueller confirmed that the Toolbar PageRank *probably* isn't going to updated anymore. The related clip starts around the 20:30 minute mark.

This has been suspected since 2013 when Matt Cutts answered a question on Twitter about the broken Toolbar PageRank and stated that it was unlikely the Toolbar PageRank would be updated at all that year. So far, there haven't been any updates in 2014 and you shouldn't expect any in the future.
