Google Ties Mobile Usability Issues with Your Website Rankings

A friend/client recently received an email from Google Webmaster Tools entitled, 'Fix mobile usability issues found on [website URL]'. We've included a copy of the email below for you to see for yourself. The reason we're bringing this to your attention is that it's the first time Google is actually telling you there may be a ranking demotion.

As written above:

"The errors on these pages severely affect how mobile users are able to experience your website. These pages will not be seen as mobile-friendly by Google Search, and will therefore be displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users."
