In-depth Articles Disappear and Reappear

A few weeks back it looked like Google had axed in-depth articles within the search result pages. Once a prominent section all its own, in-depth articles was taken away without any fanfare. It just simply vanished - only to reappear a few weeks later. The only difference that has been reported is that Mozcast is showing a 7% drop in searches with in-depth articles listed.

Authors that have been heavily featured within the in-depth articles section of the results will see a drop in Google referrals as they're now included in less search results.
