Major Link Networks Get Slapped by Google - Again


Anglo Rank, a huge link network, got called out by Google's Head of Webspam team, Matt Cutts via Twitter. Almost simultaneously, the head of Anglo Rank issued an apology to their affected clients (read: in trouble with Google).

Shortly thereafter, Google's Webspam team took down a second link network -- Backlinks.com. What's the moral of this story? Building your links the hard way really pays off in the long-term! We've given you advice time and again, on how to avoid unnatural link notices. Participating in link networks is a sure way to get penalized.
