New Premier Google Partner Badge


google_premier_partner.jpgA new badge has arrived for outstanding members of Google Partners. A Premier Google Partner Badge is now available to those advertisers who ensure a high standard of service is maintained in their business and continuously meet Google Partner’s performance requirements.

The Google Partners Badge was first launched in 2013 to help online businesses connect more closely with Google, demonstrate their credibility and have direct connection to potential clients through Google Partner Search.

To earn the Google Partners specialization badge, an online business must comply with the following criteria:

  1. Have at least one certified affiliated user of AdWords product area
  2. Demonstrate product expertise in the specialized area.
  3. Have at least US$10,000 (or local currency equivalent) 90- day AdWords spend in that area.

Advertisers can be certified in the areas of Search, mobile, video, display and shopping ads. When the mouse moves over the new badge, clients are able to see in which areas the business is specialized.

It is still uncertain what the exact and complete requirements for the Google Premier Badge are, but it is clear that more certifications and ad spend are necessary.
