Newly Launched 'Bing Offers' Joins Daily Coupon Arena
Hot off the (blog) presses, Bing is jumping into the
deal-of-the-day world, competing with the likes of Groupon and Livingsocial. The new site, Bing Offers, pulls deals from all over the internet
for the user to view in one easy to use site. A few of the other sites Bing Offers pulls deals from are
Yelp, Livingsocial, Sweetjack, Doubletakedeals, Goldstar, Homerun, among others. Bing Offers is available
in the United States on all platforms -- mobile, tablet or desktop.
Bing Offers automatically detects the area you are from, but you can easily search in another area (as I had to, as the deals in Kona are sparse). The deal categories are:
- Food
- Activities
- Health + Fitness
- Beauty
- Travel
- Retail + Services
Bing Offers is a little late to the daily deal game, as Google released their deal of the day site back in 2011. Also Bing Offers didn't get too creative with their name, and took a hint from Google Offers. However, the ease of use and simple design makes this a worthwhile site.
As of the time of this publish, we were unable to find a way for businesses to signup to have their products and services offered.
