Panda Refresh Arrives on Schedule


As promised the next Panda refresh rolled out on schedule mid-September. This refresh was like the previous ones with only a fraction of results said to be affected at 0.7%.

This data refresh of Panda came as no surprise as Matt Cutts promised it would be happening this way moving forward. However, in case you missed the September 2012 coverage of the Panda & Penguin updates you can see it here, Panda is an Old Pro While Penguin is Still Growing. In that we explained how Panda's algorithm changes are established and the changes we'll see going forward are all based on data refreshes.

Penguin, on the other hand, is just getting started and the next update is said to be a 'jarring' experience for sites and not something you should be looking forward to.
