Pinterest has proven itself an invaluable tool for companies looking to cultivate interest in their merchandise and products using social media. A recent study by emarketer.com shows that it's also a tool for mobile users shopping in physical locations. According to the study:

Two thirds of Pinterest users reported that they'd taken their mobile app into physical locations to look at items that they'd pinned while they shopped.
