Search Instagram in Their Desktop Update

Instagram is moving towards an improved desktop experience by adding a search option. Now desktop users can search images by hashtags, location tags and account just the same as those logging in from the mobile app.

In order to utilize the search feature you have to be logged into your account and use the search bar located at the top. Search results are sorted by top posts and most recent. Top posts will show those with the most likes and comments with most recent posts underneath.
