Do your Google Maps listings have no impressions? You may have duplicates.

• I have several Google Maps listings which are showing no impressions. It's been a couple of weeks and I see the listings live but no impressions. Can you tell me what the problem may be and what I can do to fix it?

Answer: This could be a bug. We have listings in our own local account that have not shown any impressions for weeks then "suddenly" updated with 1000's.

So if this is a very recent problem, you might want to let the system update for a week then check it. We are assuming that your listings are showing up fine in Google Maps currently, correct? You are just not seeing any data from them in your own account, right?

It's very possible you have duplicate listings out there. Google's algorithm doesn't allow the merging of duplicate listings (especially ones from trusted advisors) so it's usually best just to leave them there. If you do need to remove a duplicate listing, make sure to follow these suggested steps directly from Google:

• Choose the listing that you'd prefer to keep in your account. Make sure that you have all your enhanced content (photos, business hours, description) attached to this listing and this listing only.
  
• For duplicates of this listing in your account (the ones you want to remove), remove all enhanced information. Keep only required information, like the business title, address, and one phone number.
  
• Submit these changes and verify as necessary.
