Froogle, Google's New Product Search
December 12th, 2002 Google unveiled their new beta product search project called Froogle. According to Google, Froogle is a product search engine that ranks store sites based on their relevance to the search terms you have entered.
Merchant sites (automatically) get into Froogle after being spidered by Google's regular spider, or by submitting a data feed.
At this time Froogle accepts only English language websites with products trading in US dollars. We did find, however, some UK based sites in Froogle. To learn how your site can participate, go to http://froogle.google.com/froogle/merchants.html.
