What can be done when GSC data disappears? ...and why does this happen?

  • If the GSC (Google Search Console, aka Google Webmaster Tools) data disappears but we know via Google Analytics the site is in fact getting clicks, is there any way to get Google to start collecting the data 'properly' again?
