Add a 'Booking Button' to your Google Local listing

You may recall that Google added booking buttons to selected local panel search results last July. This enabled users to book fitness, wellness and beauty services directly from a company's search result listing.

Recently this Reserve with Google feature-option was extended to include more local businesses. If you're a business owner you may now be able to sign up with one of Google's "scheduling partners" directly from your Google My Business console.

According to Google, the purpose for the BOOK ONLINE button, placed directly on your Google Maps or Google Local search result, is to allow people to "book an appointment in under a minute directly through your listing."

To add this button you need to be working with one of the 'supported scheduling providers'. You'll know if you're working with them because you'll see the booking button on your listing automatically. Now, if you aren't signed up with a Google approved scheduling provider then you can log into your Google My Business dashboard and you'll see a prompt there to get you started. Here's a list of supported scheduling providers.
