Bing Street View

In a recent announcement, Bing Maps developers unveiled the Bing Maps Preview app for Windows 8.1. Some of these features are also available at Bing Maps online. Users can explore select U.S., U.K., and Canadian cities in high-resolution 3D. "Our Streetside imagery lets you explore places in extraordinary detail." You can also plan trips in those cities using public transportation. One of the nice features about this app is the "Nearby transit" view, showing you the closest transit stops by distance, which lines run at that stop, and the schedules of each line (updated in real time).

Bing maps has also added high-resolution birds eye images of 150 countries, on all continents. You can view popular vacation destinations, sports stadiums, and more.
