Google's 'Change of Address' Tool has been Updated

For the first time since it's release in 2009, Google's Change of Address tool has been updated to be much more user friendly and easier to use overall. Google's John Mueller announced in on G+ like this:

"We just updated it to guide you through a part of the [site move] process, double-checking that you have the sites verified, that the redirects are in place, and that the redirect doesn't break verification. We hope this tool makes it a bit easier to move to a different domain, should you want to do that, and a bit harder to make mistakes along the way :-)."

Please note this update supports domain changes and not protocol changes (such as HTTP to HTTPS). To read more about the change of address tool, visit Google's Webmaster Tools Help forum. Also check out a screenshot of the updated tool below.
