Leverage Google's New URL Removal Tool

Google announced the launch of the improved URL Removal Tool, which makes it easy to remove URLs on third-party sites. Google's, John Mueller says:

"This tool is useful for removals on other peoples' websites. You could use this tool if a page has been removed completely, or if it was just changed and you need to have the snippet & cached page removed. If you're the webmaster of the site, then using the Webmaster Tools URL removal feature is faster & easier."

This is your way of letting Google know that a Web site or content has been taken down or moved. Don't worry, Google will analyze what you submit before removing pages from search results (so your competitors won't be able to erase you from the search results). Google will look for specific HTTP result codes (for example: 403, 404, or 410), noindex robots meta tag, or robots.txt file that block the page.

Users have mentioned that the response time for using this tool is quick, usually within 24 hours. To access the improved Public URL Removal Tool, visit: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals.
