On September 24th, Google tweeted that they were releasing the September 2019 Core Algorithm Update and just like previous core updates this year - there was little to no supporting documentation included.

Actionable Strategy — Check your Search Console Performance Report to see if and how your site was affected. If you're seeing a drop starting around September 24th then you were most likely affected by this update.
