Yahoo's Image Search is Improved with 'Labeled for Reuse'

Yahoo has announced a new type of image search that allows you to filter for Flickr photos that are 'Labeled for Reuse'. On the left side of the page, directly underneath the 'Yahoo!' banner is a double arrow, clicking that will show you filters that can be added to your search, with 'Labeled for Reuse' at the bottom. Simply click and your new search will only bring up images that are available for reuse under Flickr's Creative Commons guidelines.

This new search could be worth adding to your arsenal. We spend a lot of time searching for the perfect image and knowing which ones are available for reuse can save a lot of time. The new search option is available on Web and mobile searches. Hovering over the thumbnails will show you details about the image itself, such as the photographer and the Creative Commons license terms can be viewed by clicking on the Attribution link.
