Twitter Tips: Split-Test Your Twitter Marketing

By Shelly Kramer on Feb 14, 2013 - 10:00 AM

Testing is a critical part of any marketing strategy—and social media marketing is no exception. I'm a huge proponent of not only collecting data, but using it to see what works (and doesn't work) with your target audience. After all, digital marketing campaigns aren't stale, static strategies—instead, they continually shift and evolve based on new tools, best practices and what your audience tells you they want.

Some types of marketing, like email marketing, make it easy to test various components so that you can quickly gather and analyze data with built-in tools availab...

What’s New in Local Search February 2013

By Mary Bowling on Feb 12, 2013 - 10:00 AM

Here is the February 2013 installment of 'What's New in Local Search'. It's been another busy month so I won't waste your time and am just going to dive right in.

At least Foursquare does insure that you've actually visited the place by checking, though. Watch for this trend in all the spaces that enable ratings and reviews. There's just too much suspect review content out there and consumers know it. They are seeking others' opinions in places that publish the most trusted reviews, like Hotels.com whi...

It's obvious enough to anyone who has done a side by side comparison of the two mapping systems that ...
