Apple Rolling out Search Ads for the App Store


search_ads_apple_app_store.jpgApple is beta testing new Search Ads displayed prominently at the top of the U.S. app results within Apple's App Store for great exposure. They allow users to retain their privacy while easily downloading the apps they're interested in. Apple will use an auction system with a cost per click model that has no minimum spend or time commitment with an official launch in the fall.

Search Ads is an efficient and easy way for you to promote your app within the U.S. App Store search results, helping people discover or reengage with your app at the very moment they are searching for apps like yours.

Advertisers are encouraged to sign up as beta testers now and can do so here. Beta testers will have their ads created and launched by Apple with no money required. However, there's no guarantee your app information will be used as a test and no analytics will be available for the tests if you're chosen. As more information is available we'll keep you posted.
