Facebook Likes Do a Disappearing Act

Facebook is giving business pages the heads-up that they may see a decrease in the number of likes on their page. The reason? Facebook will be removing likes from memorialized and voluntarily deactivated Facebook profiles. The change is in line with how they already treat personal pages and if an account is later reactivated the likes will reappear. Business pages can expect to see a small dip from the inactivated accounts being removed in the coming weeks and the change will continue going forward.
