Register Your YouTube Business Channel Today!


If you're already an active YouTube user then you know that Google integrated your Google profile into YouTube a long time ago. However, it was all a mess and you couldn't create a new YouTube Channel for your business. Well, great news - after this latest update if your company has a Google+ profile then it now has a YouTube Channel waiting for you to claim!

To get started just go to YouTube while you're logged into the same Google account that's an admin for the business and look at the top navigation bar.

You'll see that you're already logged in as your personal account and to claim your newly created business channel - click the drop down menu and choose All my channels.

Then all of your channels will be listed including the ones for businesses you've claimed within Google+ but never made a YouTube channel for.

If you wanted to create a new channel that's not in this list then you'll have to associate it with a Google+ profile. So if it's a business channel you're looking to create then you'll need a Google+ business page first. Google is making it impossible to create a YouTube Channel that isn't tied and integrated with a Google+ profile. This means uploads, comments and likes on YouTube will be associated with the Google+ profile you tie to your YouTube Channel. Youtube is anonymous no more.
