  The new Twitter profiles have a larger cover image. The image is no longer aligned to the right side of the page but it covers the entire width of the profile. You can upload a cover image of 1500 x 500 pixels. This means you can choose a really appealing image that displays your brand in the best light. You now have the chance to make a good first impression by choosing a large image with the right dimensions. Remember that people will judge the professionalism of a page by its cover.

• 2. Pin your most important tweets at the top

  The new Twitter profile allows you to pin your preferred tweets at the top of the profile. Whether it is an important event that you want to share with visitors or an announcement, you can pin it to be sure it doesn't go unnoticed. You can also pin a good tweet at the top to give it a longer 'shelf life'.

• 3. Take advantage of the large profile image

  The size of profile images has also increased to 400 x 400 pixels. Human beings are considered to be very visual and that is why you need to make good use of images on social networking platforms.
