Foursquare Updates to a Social Search Engine - Get Your Business Ranking Now!
Foursquare has redesigned its site, and added in a new personalized search feature called Personalized Search for the Real World.
The feature introduces the Explore feature to the Web site, which has been available on the app for some time now; some new search filters, and better search overall.
This exploring option turns Foursquare into a nice local search engine that will allow you to search by keyword or browse by categories. Better yet, you can filter these searches with filters like "I haven't been to yet", "My friends have been to", "Have Foursquare specials", and so on.
This evolves Foursquare from an interesting tool that lets people know the places they've been to an entire search engine that can expand the ways business can be found.
Now you can be found by potential customers in a new way other than the social aspect of Foursquare which means that if you haven't verified your place on Foursquare yet, now is definitely the time to start up a new campaign on the service.
