Google Soon to Crack Down on Ads Related to 'Dangerous Content'


Google AdWords will roll out a fresh Policy Center this September. The new policies will be streamlined, easier to understand and in some cases updated with changes. You can preview the new policy center live from Google AdWords support site.

Many advertisers are likely not going to be affected by this new policy change. However, there are some new restrictions that advertisers need to keep an eye on. The restrictions in regards to products under the Dangerous Content policy such as tobacco, weapons and fireworks will undergo some changes. For instance, fireworks, tobacco and stun guns can be prohibited completely. So, if you're dealing in those areas then now is the time to check out the new guidelines and get prepared for any changes that affect you.
