Your URL Doesn't Have to be ASCII Anymore
Ever wanted to use a display and destination URL that had other standard Roman alphabet characters in it?
Now you can. In your display and
destination URLs, you can use:
- non-ASCII characters
- non-Latin characters (like the Greek example above)
- Latin characters with accents and diacritical markings (such as é, ü and ñ).
Google adds...
"To ensure that users will be able to reach your site, we’ll verify that the URL works properly in both Unicode and Punycode."
Gotta love that.
