Gmail Adds Notes to Spam Folder

Google has decided to shed some light on why they banish some emails to your Gmail Spam folder and let others slip by. Since this change has gone live - whenever you view an email in your spam folder you'll see a message telling you why that message has been marked as the spam. Google hopes this will help many users understand why some emails are considered spam, and hopefully help them learn more about scams and other harmful messages.

On the flip side, this is a cool new resource for any of you that rely on email marketing within your business. As we are sure you're aware - testing and retesting your emails within all the different email providers is a must if you want to be successful. Google just did us all a favor by giving us these small clues as to why some emails aren't hitting our client's inbox. If your email ends up in the spam box, then check out the notes provided to hopefully help you figure out ways to change your message to avoid the spam folder.
