Spend Every AdWords Penny with Shared Budget


If you've ever had problems with a campaign that is hitting its spending limit one day but falling short the next, leaving you with AdWords money left unspent. You may want to consider using Google AdWords newest feature 'Shared Budget'. It was announced via Google's blog in mid-September and allows you to set a total daily limit for several campaigns at once. If one of your campaigns falls short of reaching its limit then the remaining money will be redistributed automatically to the additional campaigns under the 'Shared Budget'.

Before jumping in with both feet you may want to consider what types of goals you have for each campaign and make sure that stealing from one to pay for another will not be counterproductive.

However, it could be very beneficial if you currently find yourself logging in and adjusting your individual campaigns multiple times a day to make sure you get the most bang for your buck. And who knows? With all that extra time you may be able to grill that cold ham and cheese.
