Google States: Redirecting Your Pages Doesn't Affect PageRank


If you've ever had to redirect a large number of your pages for a site redesign, adding an SSL certificate or a domain change you know that it takes a hit on your rankings. That's because a redirect, regardless if it's a 301, 302 or even a 307, can cause you to lose roughly 15% of the PageRank pointed at that page.
