Page Speed Service Being Tested

Google has rolled out a Page Speed Service advertising up to a 60% speed increase to pages. Google indicated that they are working to add more features to this service and until they do you can signup to hopefully be chosen to try it out for free. You can add your name to the list here.

Page Speed Service is currently being offered to a limited set of webmasters. If you wish to speed up your Web site, please fill this form and your account will be enabled as the service is rolled out broadly. During the period of limited availability, we are unable to respond to all requests, and will get back only if we enable your account.

Google has not yet provided details on future services to be included and has only said the pricing for the service will be reasonable.
