Publishers Can Lighten the Load with Google Media Tools


google-media-tools-2.pngGoogle released Google Media Tools, a free resource for journalists that aims to help them navigate the various Google properties while in pursuit of a story. The site is organized into six sections; Gather and Organize, Engage, Visualize, Publish, Develop, and Additional Resources.

These Tools highlight Google's properties and gives helpful tips on how to utilize them for all the different stages of journalism from research to publish. For instance, Media Tools outlines how journalists can promote themselves using G+, it lists some handy search tips, and explains how to make customizable maps with the Google Maps API.
