YouTube Videos Dominating Top Search Positions
If you do a search for music videos within Google you'll notice that the video thumbnails from YouTube are displaying prominently in the top position and are taking up a ton of space above the fold.
At first glance, the thumbnails appear to be playable within the results but instead, clicking them takes you to YouTube. Video sites other than YouTube can also show clickable thumbnail results however, the thumbnails themselves are considerably smaller. As of now, the larger thumbnails only come up for music videos and artist searches but if testing continues and we see these results showing up in more places, we'll let you know.
